Delivery, Set Up, and Pick up Orders
Delivery and Set up fees are based on location, difficulty and amount of time involved in delivery. All Jackson venues start at $100 for delivery and set up. Most wedding deliveries take minimum an hour. This fee is your insurance that your desserts will be professionally set up and delivered. Extra fees may apply for deliveries to mountain venues like Wildcat Resort or North Peak at Sunday River where a gondola ride is involved. There is a lot involved when delivering, including coordinating with venue, boxing up desserts safely, driving mountain roads, transporting stands, setting them up, applying floral or accent details, making sure restock is refrigerated properly, etc. Setting up a tiered cake, an elaborate display or dessert table may require additional set up fees.
For pick up orders, we ensure your desserts are boxed appropriately for travel. We will assist you in packing up your car to ensure the safety of your desserts. We will also help coordinate refrigeration or set up instructions with your venue. Some cakes may not be recommended for pick up.
A real Nomad loves an adventure! For the right events, we will definitely travel! Our goal is to be able to do cakes all over the world one day. So far, we've traveled as far as Philadelphia for a wedding and are hoping to be able to expand our cakes frequent flyer miles. If we're able to drive to your location, delivery and set up fees will depend on distance and time of year. If your delivery requires us to fly, travel expenses and potential kitchen space will be agreed upon during your initial quote.
