The 2024, Mother's Day Cake + Cocktails workshops will be held at The Tamworth Distillery Lyceum located at 85 Maine Street, Tamworth, NH 03886.

Friday, May 10 at 4 pm-7 pm

Saturday, May 11 at 3 pm-6 pm

The distillery will open up the workshop with a cocktail tutorial and end our workshop with another tutorial. In between, the Autumn Nomad staff will show you how to trim and fill a cake.

They will have refrigeration there, so we will be focusing on one full cake now, from start to finish! (originally I wasn't sure they had enough refrigeration, so we were going to be doing two cakes - one small naked cake so you learned to fill a cake, and a pre-iced cake.

But now we can do one from start to finish!!) While your cake is setting in the fridge, we will show you how to dye your buttercream and prepare your piping bags.

You will then learn different piping techniques to accomplish your Victorian Style cake design! We'll show you how to ice your cake, any color you want and have full creative freedom on your cake design! We will have fruit, flowers and edible glitter accessible to finish your cake.

We will take professional photos for you also, to showcase your work!

Gift: You will get a specialty coupe class, cooper jigger and shaker to take home and make your cocktails! Additionally, you will get cake spatulas, piping tips and bags to decorate at home.

And of course take home your beautiful cake!

Food: We will have a beautiful assortment of cheese + charcuterie, paired with fruit, marinated vegetables, olives, nuts, jams, honey and crackers - assembled by Autumn Nomad. Plenty to munch on while you create your masterpiece. 

Price: This speciality, all inclusive class is $250 and covers your 2 cocktails during the tutorial, food, all cake supplies, and your take home gift.
